Pork & Plum Spring Rolls

Fruity plum with ginger, garlic & soy come together in these deliciously light & crispy spring rolls. Perfect as a picnic treat or a starter.

Pork & Plum Spring Rolls By

You'll need

200g lean minced pork
100g beansprouts
1 small carrot, peeled & diced
6 spring onions, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
6 tablespoons Plum & Bramley Apple Chutney 
6 sheets filo pastry, approximately 25 x 49cm
25g melted butter
2 teaspoons sesame seeds

How to make

Preheat the oven to 190ºC, Gas Mark 5.
In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients, except the filo pastry & butter. Place the sheets of pastry together & cut in half lengthways.
Place 1 sheet of the pastry on a board & brush the edges with a little of the melted butter. Place some of the filling on the bottom edge. Roll up, folding the ends over. Repeat with remaining pastry & filling.
Place on a baking sheet & brush with butter & sprinkle with the sesame seeds. Cook for 15/20 minutes until golden & cooked through. Serve with extra plum chutney.
