Open Turkey, Apple, Pear and Fig Sandwich by Food Blogger Love Food By

You'll need

  • 100g sliced turkey breast
  • 2 tbsp English Provender Apple Pear and Fig Chutney
  • 1/2 clove chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 bread roll
  • 10g butter
  • 2 tbsp grated cheddar cheese
  • Mixed salad for garnish

How to make

  1. Mix 1 tbsp chutney, garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, paprika, salt and pepper and marinate breasts for one hour.
  2. Place the marinated turkey under a hot grill and grill for 5 minutes on each side.
  3. Remove from the grill and spread a teaspoon of chutney on each fillet.
  4. Cut bread roll in half and spread each side with butter. Place the turkey fillets onto the bread and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  5. Put a heaped teaspoon of chutney on top of each roll and place back under the grill for 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  6. Garnish with salad and an extra helping of chutney if you fancy.
