« Pork Ribs with Sticky Cider & Organic Apple Sauce »

Serves 3 – 4

Ingredients:

  • 675g (1 ½ lb) Pork ribs (approx 9 ribs)
  • Marinade:
  • 2 tsp  Very Lazy Ginger
  • 2 tsp  Very Lazy Garlic
  • 125ml (1/4pt) apple juice
  • 125ml (1/4pt) cider
  • 3 tbsp English Provender Organic Apple Sauce
  • 1tbsp soft brown sugar

 

Method:

  1. Place the ribs in a large shallow dish. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade and pour over ribs.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for 1 – 3 hours.
  3. Place the ribs and marinade in a large baking tray, cover with foil and cook in a preheated oven Gas Mark 4 , 180 C 350 F for about 50 mins.
  4. Uncover and cook for a further 30 mins until golden brown and sticky.
  5. Serve with creamy mashed potato with chopped spring onions, steamed green beans and extra Organic Apple Sauce on the side.
