Who among us doesn’t secretly crave a retro prawn cocktail? This classic favourite of crisp shredded lettuce, juicy prawns and rich sauce becomes even more tempting when all you have to do is spoon over an indecent quantity of English Provender’s creamy Seafood Sauce. Expertly made with the finest ingredients - free-range eggs, tomatoes, and a hint of Dijon mustard - and carefully balanced with Sicilian lemon juice, this is a seriously good sauce just heavenly with juicy prawns.

10 Ways with Seafood Sauce

 

  1. Toss with juicy crab meat, grapefruit segments and mixed leaves and a sprinkling of cayenne pepper for a sharp seafood salad
  2. Combine shredded carrots, white and red cabbage, sultanas and bind with seafood sauce for a summery coleslaw with a difference
  3. Mix with crème fraiche for a delicious dip for crudités
  4. Make a pasta salad with cooked pasta shells, sweetcorn, peas and spring onion and toss with seafood sauce
  5. Fill crisp lettuce cups with shredded cucumber, tomato and crayfish and finish  with a generous drizzle of seafood sauce
  6. For a Hawaiian style burger,  top meaty beef burgers with lettuce, a slice of pineapple and seafood sauce
  7. Sandwich together grilled fish fingers and  seafood sauce in white bread for the ultimate fish finger butty
  8. Use in place of to give an edge to sizzling chicken fajitas
